During lockdown I decided to take on the challenge of making my lingerie. Not only have I now found my perfect sizing, I have expanded my new sewing skills and can confidently say I can make lingerie and read lingerie patterns very well! Here are some of the best sewing patterns I came across.
Lingerie Sewing Patterns Review
The choice is yours when deciding what to wear to bed with this classic bedtime slip dress, bra and panties sewing pattern. Select from a 1950’s style long slip, bra or vest and pants set.
It’s a misses sewing pattern, which has been designed for women of average proportions between the height of 5ft 5″ – 5 ft 6″ without shoes. It’s an all sizing inclusive pattern, available in sizing US 2 – US 16, meaning you’ll be sure to find the right sizing.

Yes, I think sewing your own lingerie garment (a bralette or briefs) is a really simple and easy place to start with sewing. Sewing underwear will never be boring due to the different styles and sewing patterns.
Is it difficult to sew lingerie?
That depends on the lingerie sewing patterns you have chosen. You can create easy beginner style lingerie with sewing patterns to begin with, and then expand to complex bralette designs with complicated cups if you are up to the challenge!
